The town office has a fairly complete collection of Town Records dating back to 1912, which provide a glimpse of Somerville's changing fortunes - and management - during its transition to and from plantation status. The public is welcome to browse through these at the office. 

Note: we are missing the years 1914-1915, 1944-1945, 1950-1951, 1965, 1973-1974, 1979-1980 and 1990.
